I love art, usually being partial to landscapes. I hadn't heard of Chase before but saw that he had painted some landscapes and decided to look into his works more. I'm very pleased with what I discovered! Even though he painted some gorgeous nature scenes I was more impressed with his portraits. Chase seemed to be able to paint people in a way that brought out their beauty and personality in a way I haven't seen very often in an artist. I enjoyed the book.
